For the past week, I’ve been working with Greg Reinacker to create a plug-in for NewsGator, which will allow posting to a MovableType blog from within Outlook.

I’m very pleased to report that this has been incorporated in the 1.2 beta release of NewsGator, and this post is coming at you live from Outlook 2003. :=)

Plugins have also been developed to support radio, blogger.com, and dotnetweblogs.com. BlogX support is anticipated to be added soon.

Greg mentions that he needs a few more folks on the beta program who are interested in using NewsGator to post to their weblogs.

Congratulations to Greg and everyone else who made this happen. I think this is a wonderful addition to an already great client.
